Vecchio Amaro del Capo is an herbal Calabrian liqueur from Italy that has been developed over four generations of the Caffo family. Amaro del Capo consists of herbs, flowers, fruits and roots from the Calabria region infused with the best alcohol to aid digestion and give a feeling of well-being. Bitter orange, sweet orange, licorice, mandarin orange, chamomile, and juniper are just some of the 29 medicinal herbs that can be found in this unique infusion. Its delicate and aromatic flavor provides a lighter and less bitter finish. The Calabrian tradition recommends that it be consumed frozen at -20 degrees Celsius to emphasize the characteristics of the herbs.
